This began as an account of my travels through India and Bangladesh, and continues on as I contemplate the interrelationships of nature, culture and our built environment. The shifting places where land meets water are some of the most critical, precarious, fertile places on earth which fascinate me to no end. Tuvalu next!

Hi Heather,
These pics are AMAZING! I can't believe the live stock walking down the streets. That must be totally WILD! Give my brother a hug for me, it was cool to see him in the picture. Have fun!

Hi Heather!
You finally made it till Amdavad. Richard sent me this link to your blog. My younger brother is in Vadodara. 2 hr drive from Amdavad. If I had known your itinerary, I could have given his cell number to you. It looks like you had a blast. Since you were in Amdavad around January 13, I hope you stayed for couple of days more and hope you had chance to enjoy Uttarayan - Kite Flying festival. Looks like you visited some major places - to get the flavor of India. That is great. I am in Brooklyn now. When you return send me an email.
Great Photos!
